Beth Poole

Beth Poole has followed a nonlinear path with chapters in Maine, Alaska, Colorado and many points in between and beyond, all with a through line of protecting the lands, waters and outdoor ways of life that sustain us and building communities that connect us. Relational to the core, she spends most of her time making lasting friendships with supporters, partners and funders to serve the mission and goals of causes that are helping to build a healthy, just and sustainable future for us all. She currently works at the Bears Ears Partnership and previously served as Major Gift Director at Protect Our Winters and Individual Giving Director at the Conservation Lands Foundation. During her time in Alaska, she started and led the State’s first fishermen-led regional seafood development association, spending a decade in rain gear and Xtra tuffs in the Copper River and Bristol Bay fisheries. All of these experiences, along with showing the world to her two boys, built her passion for conservation and connecting people to protecting our shared home and future.
